thumper trims her own nails?

Hey guys,

My little muffin seems to be trimming her nails herself!! Id been wondering why they were growing in all weird. I was lying in bed and heard a "crunch crunch" noise from her cage, and i got up and looked and she had her foot in her mouth, noming on her nails. Is this a bad thing?

Our boy Leo does this...
It is weird isn't it!?

Good news is...we have had him for 5 years and never had to trim his nails...
HOWEVER...he tends to gnaw them into points...so to keep from getting shredded we have to use an emery board to file the tips down!

MikeScone's rabbit Scone did this too. I wish mine would learn self-trimming!

Some of ours do, but, they end up very sharp. Because of that, they still get a trim.
