If I were you, I would call (if theyre not closed already) and ask if they have someone watching him overnight. A lot of places dont, so hes better off at home.

Also, most bunnies are more likely to eat when theyre back at home.Someone on here had a bunny whose vet kept her for 2 days cuz she wouldnt eat/poop..as soon as she got home she did both.

WEll he is home!! He had a big feed when he got home now he is sitting quietly in the corner of his cage, i guess this is normal? He is on baytril tablets for 2 weeks for the abcess on his ear, now that is going to be fun!! LOL Oh and the vet said he lived up to his name :D

Glad to hear he's doing well!

Its normal for them to be a bit inactive the first few days. Just be sure he's eating and pooping and not being too sluggish.

I hope that abscess clears up. Those things can be pretty nasty!

He is eating heaps and pooping heaps! LOL so it sall good on that front. He just took his first baytril tablet too no problems i just pushed it into his mouth and no struggling or anything:) I guess it is too soon to really be noticing a difference but he seems so much calmer and smoochier, i guess that oculd still be the drugs wearing off tho ay

If you are having trouble giving him the tablet, you can always crush it up and add a bit of water and syringe it to him that way,or you can crush it up andmix it in with a bit of baby food.

I had the baytril tablets for my bunny Lulu once, but i would very much prefer the liquid,it's so much easier

Glad to hear Thumper is doing fine :)

Yeah the vet suggested i crush them up if he wont take them, i will try him on baby food and if he likes it i will give him his next one on that :) ONe of my other buns was on baytril liquid and i mixed it with crictical care which she loved! SO it was so muc asier :)

Thumper is recovering prefectly! But he is still trying to hump things, how long does it take before the hormones stop and he stops getting the 'urges'??
