So anyways I hope ya'll like em!

very cool! i've always wished we could have chickens or ducks, but we're not zoned for it.............:grumpy:

summer fun? or flowers? or you could pick a color, that'd bereally cool!

The third pic is a chicken called a showgirl...very cool little birds! I have afew more in different colors. The last pic is two silkie chickens...those two are best friends LOL...they're currently sitting on a nest of eggs TOGETHER.:p

Wow, I wasn't even sure the last photo were chickens :rollseyesI didn't realize there were so many different breeds. I would love to see more photos when you get a chance.

i love silkies! they are so cool. we had a bunch of splash ones one year.

polish are also on my fav list.

but will admit, that my all time fav breed are standard cochins(sp?) i call them fluffybutts. once i get to a point were i can have chickens again, i would like to have a small flock of nothing but white, blue, and splash cochins. maybe a polish tossed in there too . . . they are just to cool.

oh, and BTW, great photos

Oh wow!! Those pictures are so neat! I love chickens, though I've never owned them, myself. I do have a really good friend that has some, including a silky!

Beautiful pictures!!

My mom and I have had chickens for about 16-17 years, since I started in 4-H. Mom is starting to get into the Polish here recently, too. It started out she rescued a little Polish cockerel that our neighbor was going to put down because it's coloring wasn't showable, and she kinda fell in love with him, and it went from there. Do you have all banties, or some full sized breeds too? I want some Red Laced Blue Wyandottes, I think those are gorgeous!

We have a pair of the BLRW wyandottes, I like the coloring but I never did like the general look of the birds, I'm actually planning on giving that pair to a friend. I have banties and standards. I raised them for 4-h too many years ago we only got back into them abouta year ago. My husband wasn't totally into the chicken thing but of course he fell in love with them too :biggrin2:

Thanks fro all the compliments on the pics everyone. We used to have polish but they were just too flighty for my taste although they are gorgeous birds!

Katt we have bantam cochins although I long for standards. If I can find some hatching eggs for a decent price I'd like to add a few to our flock they are beautiful!

this is our big daddy duck LOL...his name is bosshog. He is huge! Kinda like the flemish giant is to the rabbit world...well he's that to the duck world lol!

This is one of our little roos. He's a tiny little thing. We keep a few Seramas in our flock and he's their roo.

Do you have any Banta Chickens? I had a couple as pets as a kid and they were so cute and cuddly.. Looks kinds like your Seramas but not as flamboyant. Cute photos and how did you ever get the chicks and roos to pose?

Oh my goodness, all are sooo cute! We used to have chickens (they were not 'normal' they were very nice/timid, we even had a cornish x rhode island redrooster with 3 inch long spurs and he was the sweetest thing) and ducks, but we had to give them away because we moved and had no space for them:(
