Wow! You do have an early fair! Mine isn't until the last full week in August. It will be my last fair as an exhibitor. :(

Well, I think I'd like June as August is hot forthe animals. We have all summer to work on our projects tho so thats abig plus!

True! It is very hot for the animals. I couldn'timagine a horse show in the middle of the summer! I'm concerned aboutthe rabbits though, even in June, those open-ended rabbit sheds whereyou house the rabbits can get hot. I'm concerned about possiblediseases from other rabbits and them getting too hot. I'll bring in icefor thier water dishes and fans if i can.

If i show our chickens too, they can suffer easily from other chickens'diseases. They house the rabbits and chickens in the same shed! I'llbring fans for them all!

Hehe, thats nothing. I have over 10 bunny shows ayear, most are ARBA, about three are 4-H. I've been in 4-Hsince I was 5, the youngest possible. I've had buns since I was2. I show my horse, and my dogs, i have my first 4-H fair inearly June, another in July and another in August, they are all morelike county fairs so they are quite big. I have 10 days of working withmy JR. Leader group at our fair in July, and our 2 day rabbit show isthe same as our horse show, so I am a very busy beaver, but I love it.

Ahh! Ginger is so cute! I havetwo dogs, but they are mutts and they are far from obedient!LOL!! You're lucky to have a dog like her!!

Ally:)

Lol, both our dogs are mutts too! We found gingerfour years ago with two other puppies wandering around our farmstead. They'd been dropped off by someone! We kept her out of the three. She'sso extremely smart.

Thanks Bluebird. But, i'm not going to be ridinghim any more. My legs nearly touch the ground when i ride him, so idon't want to anymore....the lease ran out and i'm not going to renewit, i'll be riding their mare, Penny. She's a purebred Trakehner mare.

It's from the same owners, and i'll be riding often. She's my new 4-H horse show "project."

Haven't really done anything else, our fair is going to be the week of June 13th-19th.
