Can't I just live winter in Florida? :)
They call them "snowbirds". Yes, you can be a snowbird, but they are usually 65+ years old.

It has been really cold here, too! But then again, it's Washington - what can you expect? lol.

The other morning it was 38 degrees out!! I'm already having to bundle up in my winter coat, gloves and a hat, and usually I don't have to until at least November! :p It's crazy! :p

Today in my Enviromental class, my friend, Nick, wore longjohns under his jeans!...But then again he did think we were going on a field trip...:p Either way, that gives you an idea of how chilly it is here, at least in the morning.

I'm not really looking forward to winter...Spring and the holidays in Fall/Winter are my favorite lol. I would much prefer weather around 70 degrees. And I'm not too keen on the extreme heat. I like my range to be between 50 and 80. Lol.

I'm loving the autumn weather here at the moment. So far it has still been quite mild in temperate (some days even getting really warm!), the sun has been out almost every day and the leaves are turning all gorgeous and brown and falling off the trees. Ahhh, I love autumn!:DThat being said the wind has kicked in today and it really rained yesterday, :(please let's not lose the nice weather yet!

It has been rather cloudy here lately but warm enough during the day...the trees are JUST starting to turn colors a bit...barely anything at the moment. I wish it could be like this all year round really. Warm day and cool nights....I LOVE THIS...

I love the colours of autumn. We have a tree out the front of our house which is gorgeous this time of year. I always collect and dry out a few of the leaves.:)

We also used to have a massive horse-chestnut tree out the back of our house which used to drop literally hundreds of conkers every year. We had to have that tree chopped down a few years ago due to tree rot and I always miss our conkers this time of year.:(Although one year Millie did try to eat one - so at least that is one less hazard! ;)

We are gray and cloudy right now. I think it's going to be like this for the next few days. Snow has been mentioned in areas outside the city.

The temperature sits at 4*C (39*F).

After waking up nearly freezing, I broke down and turned on the heat today. It's 54*F outside right now, and cloudy. Only set the heat at 68*F, though.

That is a great picture!

Think I will take a walk on the greenway today and take some pics....it is so pretty on there...

Ugh, its been snowing this week and so cold and windy. Blah! I hate winter. We didn't even get a fall. It went from +25*c to snow in 2 weeks.

Here too. The last 3 days it's been snowing and the temperature hasn't risen above 0*C at all. Looks like Winter is here and we skipped Fall.

Right now we are -5*C (22*F). The leaves on the trees are still green and haven't had a chance to turn colour. They will fall as green leaves because everything is frozen outside, including my garden hose. :grumpy:

It's raining here now...sucks...I wanted to go take a bike ride with my daughter :(

It been cooling off a bit here not much during the day. But its been cool at night so the water is to cold to swim in some days that when I hate it.

Ha, yeah our hose is frozen too :grumpy:

Well it's definitely fall here and they are calling for a light snow tonight. Ground is too warm for it to stick though. We celebrated today sort of by having a turkey dinner (I won it last year and its been in freezer and I didn't want it to go to waste). So we had our turkey, mashed taters, stuffing, buttered peas, cranberry sauce and gravy. OH and for the 21+ crowd we had a glass of wine with it. It was just kind of a cozy warm family day. I think that's what I like about fall. That and soup in a bread bowl with a glass of wine and just some relaxation :)
