I will miss one full day for the surgery and I will be in the hospital 1-3 nights unless I have serious complications. The worse part is they stretch the neck muscles apart to do the surgery and it can result in a very sore neck for a while so sitting through long days of class may be a little bit of an issue, not to mention driving in to school.
I will also have a number of follow up appointments but at least they I will be in the University Hospital so I will be on my campus which is nice that I wont have to run around the city to appointments.
