I just caught Merry on top of a table eating myImpatients plant that I brought in to protected it from the frost. Sheonly ate 1/4 of a leaf, but it is on the list of plants poisoinous torabbits. Any suggestions as to what I should do?

Keep a close eye on her forthe syptoms of poisoning. If you see anything out of the ordinary gether to the vet pronto. In the mean time give her plenty of water tohelp flush it out of her system. Push the hay as much as possible tohelp push it through.

It sounds like she only got a tiny bit of it so hopefully it wasn't enough to cause any damage.

I will be sending good thoughts your way.

Thanks for the info, I've been giving lots ofwater and hay. Why do these things always happen AFTER the vet has gonehome for today? She seems fine though, and it was only a small bit ofthe leaf.

Rabbits and children, at least mine, seem to wait until the vet it gone for the day. I think you probablystopped her in time from ingesting too much. I would just keep a closeeye on her just in case. I would also keep doing what you're doing forthe day.

Sending good thoughts your way.

Well, she seems fine, was being a sweet bunny asusual. I called the vet and she said just to watch her for the nextday, and that she probally didnt eat enough to get her sick. She issuch a mischevious bunny, I cant believe she got up on that table. Youturn your back for just a min . . . :p

Yea!! I'm glad she's ok. Merry, No more scaring us like that.:X

I tell you these bunns are like two year olds, just intoeverything they shouldn't be lol. Even things you didn't think theycould get into.

I am really relieved she's ok.
