Iszy has been leaving piles of poo all over thehouse, which is not normal for her. The droppings are alsovery small. Any idea what might be going on?

Is the part about leaving droppings everywherepart of stasis? I never heard of that. Jason isbringing home the nutrical tonight. I gave her a papayatablet at noon. We'll get her treated.

If she is backingup yes If sheisgetting gassy yes , if she ispassing some of the gas some ofthe poops may be a byproduct of theexpulsion . watch her close , cannedpumpkin nutri cal and maybesome pineapple chumks or juice .

How do I know if she is gassy? Herabdomen doesn't feel hard. Do you think the droppings arecoming out in piles around the house because of gas pressure?

If she's gassy, you will hear loud rumblingswhen you put your ear to her belly. It can be treated withsimethicone- which is infant gas relief.

Treating her with simethicone will do no harm.

I used the CVS brand of infant gas drops to treat S'more.

I'm at a coffee house with web access to giveyou an update. Last night Iszy's dropping got so small and sodark that we immediately gave her nutrical, pumpkin, papaya andsimethicone. Jason was up pretty late last night keeping aneye on her and I took the entire day off today to monitorher. She is doing okay...I think. She hasn't beento interested in her pellets and hay, although I did catch her nibblingon some this morning. She is hopping around and growling likenormal...and I have a good feeling that she will snap out ofthis. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

As far as the pumpkin, simethicone, nutrical and papaya...how much ofthese should I be giving her per day? I haven't given heranything but banana, parsley and papaya this morning.

I'll be at this computer for about an hour if someone could get back to me ASAP. Thanks.

Tetracycline: A pinch with canned pumpkin or NutriCal

NutriCal: 1/2 inch every 4 hours

Papaya Tablets: 1 per day

Simethicone: The little dropper full - in the tinycontainer - maybe 1/2 tsp. Exact dosing isn'tcritical.

Canned Pumpkin: every 4 hours as much as she'll take.

Pedialyte: As much as you can get in her - a little bit every hour.

We currently have Iszy on thefollowing: Nutrical, Critical Care (in place of pumpkin),simethicone, metocloprimine and papaya. The vet prescribedmetocloprimine last night. He said that should get thingsmoving. It's so hard to syringe all this stuff into herseveral times a day but I know I have to. Her conditionhasn't really improved that much. She's still passingdroppings, but they are very little and not as often as she shouldbe. I layed with her on the floor yesterday afternoon and shewas chattering her teeth. :( I hope she bouncesback very soon.

Prayers and good thoughts.

Keep to the regiment. It's not easy, but it's for the best.

Is she getting any liquids into her?

She is drinking some. I hate that I have to be at work today. I want to be with her. :(

I went home every day at lunchtime for two weeks when we treated S'more.

Danielle helped out a lot. She stayed up late and gave her the nightimemeds, and I took the day shift. There was only about 2 hrs a day thatsomeone wasn't with her.

I get to go home at lunch time to check onher. I called Jason at 10:00 this morning and he said Iszywas standing on top of her wooden house. That is a goodsign.
