Sticker on face

Bun was poking around the bookshelf and nibbled the spine of an old library book. She ripped off the old library sticker, and now it is on her face. On her whiskers, right along side her nose.
How do I get it off safely? My instinct is to get it really wet, but how?? Thank you

Not water - use vegetable oil. Usualy that helps with such glues.
