I did the first nebulizer treatment today for my two buns pasturella. They are getting gentamicin and oral baytril. Cross our fingers this helps! Any experiences with nebulizing? Good or bad!
Thanks

I haven't seen it done in bunnies but dogs and cats certainly benefit from it so why not bunnies. Good luck!!

I have read of others having positive results from nebulizing their rabbits, especially when the oral or injectable antibiotics don't seem to be helping much.

Jbun, that's my two in a nutshell haha!
Oral antibiotics don't seem to work even though the culture and sensitivity said it should be sensitive to some of them... Only symptoms are sneezing/discharge but it's not severe. Just praying this can clear it all up!

I have a nebulizer I used on my Cricket for her upper respiratory issues. We just nebulized with saline which seemed to help.
I constructed a chamber out of a plastic storage container because she would not tolerate a mask.

This is a video I made of how I made my nebulizing setup. Not sure what method you're using but this worked well for us.

That video is awesome! I'm gonna try that for Leo! He hates the mask, whereas Macy is calm and just sits there while it's on... That will make life much easier!

Other options are using a carrier and purring a trash bag around it to keep the air in during the nebulizer treatment.
