Also watch fornew growths of toxic plants.

Gas - the more common and less dangerous gas attacks canalso be the result of rich spring grasses, veggies, increasedconsumption of seeds, etc. (re: outdoor rabbits).

Mold - Hay (and to a lesser extent pellets)aremore likely to be moldy in the damp spring season.

Molts - for bunnies losing their coat and ingesting alot of hair, laxatone or petromalt is a goodpreventativetreatment for 'hairballs', as is ensuring high fiber hay (it may be agood time to rely on first cut Timothy over second cut)good hydrationand plenty of exercise.Molting bunnies can bebrushed and/or rubbed down with wet hands to removed lose hair.

Fly Strike/Warbles/Bot Flies- with Spring oftencausing more cases of 'poopy butt' and diarrhea, flies, also reemergingfor the season, will follow, presenting a severecomplication.Keep your rabbit clean and wellgroomed.

Our rabbit just had poopy butt again. She was doing so well since we changed her diet, but she is making big poo poos again. We had to clean it off of her butt yesterday. She is outside today and now I am worried. Maybe I should keep her inside till she is better. What else would cause poopy butt? It said spring weather causes it? How is this? Could parsley and carrots cause it too? Thanks.
