That's AWFUL! Poor Sparky! Why on earth did they need to leave his stomach bald?! :(

Did you complain? I would seriously consider writing a letter... Other people's dogs might have the same thing happen to them.... :(

Big :hug: for Sparky!

Gosh, that is a pretty silly hair cut.. The least they could've done was shave that tuff of hair on his tail, and trim up around his head a little... He looks like a lion. o_O

Ah, well... It'll grow back. I assume you're going to find a new place to get him groomed?

I feel bad for him, his stomach bald and anything. Because when it starts to snow, it will be the first thing to get cold because hes so small. I guess I shall have to get him a winter Jacket. . . Maybe a reason to get him some booties. ( Famous saying ' MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM, sparky needs winter clothes!!!!') She shook her head when I told her yesterday.

First off if it was my dog and i went to pick him up and he was shaved when i didnt authorize it i would have FLIPPED!!!!!!!!!! OUT!!!!!!!!!!!! :duel and i would not have payed, and i would have talked to a manager,lol. I was thinking that it was going to be a lion cut, i have seen and done them on dogs, but then i seen the pics and i dont get why the mane comes down on the shoulder and down the chest.

Although you dog is cute, if your mom didnt say for the dog to have been shaved she should have never paid. I am so sorry that you had a bad groomer. I groomed for Petsmart and then on my own and i am sorry that you didnt have a good groomer, not all of them are bad,lol.

I have occasionally taken my dog to be groomed by someone else when i was pregnant and just co uld do it, or my blades where in desperate need to be sharpened, and when i drop my dog off i am VERY SPECIFIC what i want and what i dont want. I go through it with the groomer from head to tail, they kind of look at me like i am a nut,lol. My hubby picked the dog up the one time and the groomer laughed and said that she didnt think my dog was going to turn out looking good, but i was very specific on everything and the groomer told my hubby that she loved how it turned out, and that i knew what i was talking about,lol. Hubby just laughed cause he knows me. I am so sorry that they did that to your dog, i would complain anyway to a manager telling them you were just in shock, this could be a Bad groomer and someo ne needs to report it because otherwise she will keep doing this to other peoples dogs.

My mom is not one to complain to the company. She's scared the person will get in trouble.

But the girl said, as me left we should keep going to her because Sparky has a trust issue and he seemed fine with her (Althought I think the oly reason he dint try to bite her was because she had clipper's in her hand lol)

I understand how your mom is, but if the groomer didnt listen to you and did a bad job on the dog then it should be reported,KWIM. But in that case that your mom doesnt complain then i would not take Sparky back to her EVER,lol!!!!!!!!

Even though Sparky is shaved he is still a cutie :biggrin2:

:scared::scared::scared::scared:

They shaved your dog bald and they want you to go back to them so they can do it again?!!!?! That's RIDICULOUS!

I would definately complain, and wouldn't worry about the girl getting into trouble, if you ask me, she deserves too! :shock: Or at least raise it as a 'training issue'- send in a couple of pics, and explain that you think this person could do with more training and supervision to improve her 'technique'....:?
