Also, sorry to hijack the thread but CJ's hocks are bald and slightly red but there is fur covering them, is this ok? I usually put tea tree oil cream on his feet nicely which has stopped the redness but they are still bald?

I have cats I deal with cat litter all the time
If you had a grate with a screen might be acceptable but I guess this is my pet peeve

I took care of rabbits that used litterboxes with cat litter (the woman wouldn't listen) and I felt sorry for the buns who dug in it , got it wet and then ate it off their feet.
I find cat litter to be gross with or without poop and pee in it

I found one link stating not to use it but if I took the time I could five 10 more to match one article stating that cat litter is OK ; it isn't ...
