hey there. merlin will not eat any vegetables igive him. he smells them then just turns his head from them as ifsaying "uh uh." even when i just leave them in his cage he willnot touch them. the only non pellet/hay food he will eat is apples. hewont even touch the pineapple i give him! any suggestions so he can getthe nutients he needs?

Hi Aidyl! It's okay if he doesn't likeveggies. As long as he's getting quality pellets he'll begetting all the nutrients he needs.

What have you tried though? Some rabbits are reallypicky. Try choosing just one thing, and make it one thatsmells yummy like parsley or cilantro. Then offer it forseveral days and leave it in the cage for a few hours.

Yeah, Cocoa doesn't seem to like veggies either, besides baby carrots. The first time I put one in his cage hedidn't eat it but now he loves them! He'll only get one at atime though.

My girls go gaga for fresh papaya, kiwi fruitand pear - try giving him those? It's cute listening to them squelchaway on them, too ;) Otherwise, they love parsley, coriander anddill... actually, they just seem to love everything. They're littlepiggies.

Just as naturestee mentioned, a high qualitypellet will provide Merlin with all the nutrients he needs. But if youstill want to entice him to eat veggies, I would highly reccomendparsley and mint. Those are my rabbits' favorites.

Another thing to keep in mind...your bun mightprefer to eat their veggies at night, like my Maisie. When Iput them in before going to bed, she sniffs them, but then turns herhead and does something else. BUT...they're GONE bymorning. I think she's shy about eating in front of people, and waits until she knows we're asleep. :)

Just a thought...:)

thanks everyone. merlin still prefers his apples over anything..well not over his yogies..but everything else indeed.
