Maybe he'll go back to the same place and you'll be able to find him again. If he's been seen there twice, maybe walk by there sometimes and see if Barnabus shows up.
I walk past their twice a day, its by the train station. When I saw him the first time there was a bottomless cage propped up with some veggies underneath it and a rope going to the next door neighbours yard lol. I think they might have been trying to trap him but it didnt work.
Ill keep an eye out though. I hope he does find his way back, her house isnt too far from when she found him. Do rabbits have that sense of finding home wherever they are like cats and dogs?
I think they do... One of our rabbits (Cocoa) escaped once and we didn't see her at all, but as it turns out, she was hiding on our property. Another time, a rabbit (Ranger) escaped and although we couldn't catch him for a few days (he's terribly fast) he stayed on our property, never once going to the busy road.
