So guess what I'm getting on Monday .....

So, I really don't need anymore animals.
But... I have wanted one FOREVER.
So my agreement was I just have to downsize on my breeding stock at my moms
So I would like to announce that I'm getting....

a Potbellied Pig She is 4 weeks old, she was my pick of the litter lol
She is black with pink leggings And a some pink markings on her face and chest
I get her this coming Monday.
They are $100 each and I'm ecstatic.
She is the one closest to her mother in the pic:

The mom looks huge, but she is very small The babies fit in your hands and that bucket is just a regular feeding bucket, so that is pretty small lol

Just thought I would share that with everyone I will be litter training her and everything I guess they normally bond with one person So I will be her momma <3

I don't usually think pigs are cute but those babies are adorable. Their hair looks so soft and I just want to cuddle one. I hope you post pictures as she grows.

Are you keeping her inside? Please, please, please, post as many pictures as your camera will hold. I love pigs and can't wait until I get my own place so I can have one. They're so smart and sweet. You're so lucky!

So I will be getting another one, because I really wanted a little girl
I was going to name her Truffles, but Penelope is an option

I will still be getting one with the same markings, but not as many markings on the face

So cute!!! We occasionally get a pig in at the shelter and they (thankfully) go very fast. I believe they adopt them out for $60 there.

I love the name Penelope for her!

I had a friend who got a mini pot bellied pig named Piggly Sue. She was so funny! They had a big under the bed storage bin for a litter box and as far as I know she used it. She was a bit skittish but there were a lot of people in and out of their place and everyone always wanted to pet the pig so she was nervous. She slept on the chest of the guy I was dating at the time one night! So sweet!!
Sadly, they got a dog and got rid of the pig... She lives on a farm now and they have plans to visit every now and then.
