I was spot cleaning Micheal's back foot andgential area to keep him clean since he likes to sit in the litter panduring free time. Well I flipped him over and he has a very small lightpink bald spot in the very back part of his paws would be the healpart. It is not bleeding or dark red at all but seems to be irratatedwhen I touched it for a min.

He has a coroplast bottom cage. Should I place an outdoor mat on thebottom of his cage. Will it help it better than having just a smoothcoroplast bottom. What can I put on it now in a mean time. I do nothave bag balm but I do have neosporin. But I want to get the rightstuff and right information first before I put anything on him. If Ihave to stop at the store tomorrow after church I will do that.

I would apply a small amount of foot fungal powder for people on the affected area.

Well when I looked at it, it looked like it had some dry skin ready to peal off.

Should I place an outdoor mat in there for while also our bedroom is a bit dry and we are trying hard to get a humidifier.

I will pick up some tomorrow. I know we don't have anything yet right now.

I can try but he hates being held, or in a bunny burrito. I'll try it later or tomorrow since he kept fighting with me.

Hmmm. I'm not sure what it could be. Try puttinga cloth or something in his cage? Even if it isn't from the floor, ifit is hurting it may help to take some pressure from teh foot? Hmm I'mnot sure. Could he have hurt himself on something?

I'm not sure, but could it be mites? (dry flakey bald skin?) My bunnyhad a bald spot under her chin for about two weeks then it went away (I think it was from stress).

Aslo, I don't know about it but coudl it be wring worm?

I doupt it. But I think he might have kinda hurthim self a bit. I have a brick under his gridded bowl holder and when Ilooked in his cage a corner was sticking out a bit so I pushed it undermore so he can not touch it. I will take a pic of what I mean by a bowlholder.

I took a mesh grid and cut a hole out to place his bowl inside of it. Izipped tied the grid up so the bowl can sit in it. MH loves to spillhis food and waste it so I made that.

I had that problem with Ben my flemish. The vetsaid it was pressure sores because the flemish are so are so big andheavy. Ben's got so bad that his feet started bleedingprofusely and got worse until I stacked a couple of rugs where heusually sleeps under the foot of my bed.

I thought about placing outdoor mats for him inhis cage where he sleeps the most. I think it will help cause it willabsorb the wetness that can be on his back foot. Also his water bottleleaks abit too so that could play the role.
