oh my gooddddddddness.
I got a card in the mail, as usual from my Gramma.

So then I log on facebook and see I have a message from my cousin, who lives in Calgary.
She's offering to fly me out to see her, for 10 days. Then we'd go on vacation/road trip.
I'm like, flipping out right now.
I was born in Alberta (Edmonton to be exact)and never been back since we left when I turned 1.
Now, not only will I go back, our 'road trip' is in BC, which I've never ever been.
Supposedly we're going 'up to the mountains for a few days'
I'm so excited.

But then my anxiety kicks in about, 'oh my lord, i'm going to have to fly alone'
.. Does anyone know how far it is to fly from Ottawa to Calgary? (or something, just a rough estimate)

I found out, it's 3.5 hours from toronto to edmonton
So, Toronto is farther from Edmonton them Ottawa,
A flight from Toronto to Ottawa is 45 minutes.
Edmonton and Calgary are pretty equal, just ontop of each other

So, I'm guessing around 2 hours 45 minutes to 3 hours.
:)

Happy (slightly early) birthday!
I fly alone across the US all the time because I live in LA (on the west coast) and go to school in upstate NY (east coast)
It's about 6 hours one way and 4 hours the other, then a one hour flight to the smaller city where my university is.
It's really not that bad. I mean, there's the half hour of taking off, the half hour of landing, and a movie or a good bit of book reading in between.

Happy Birthday Brandy!!!! I hope this day will have been all you have wished for and more. I was terrified of flying alone but I flew back alone from the Netherlands to Montreal and it was about 7 hours and that went ok. Hope you enjoy yourself. Post post post plenty of picturrrrrrrres when you can!!!
