9 Daysss!

I'm extremely nervous, and excited.. and I can't stop talking about it.

I got my dress.
My shoes.
I haven't gotten any jewelery yet, but I don't really need any.. the dress is sparkle enough. (and the shoes)
My mom is making me get a pedicure.. so next week.

Two things, I need help with.
Makeup. What do I do with my makeup. I can use my Sparkles, but I don't want it to be sparkle overkill. Maybe a simple 'Smokey eye' ?

Then, hair.
I've never had hair this short. I have no clue what the heck to do with it.
It's shoulder length, and layered.
I can't curl it ( I look like a poodle)
and theres crazy humidity here.

One of my friends I haven't seen in 6 years is coming to my house right before I go to the restaurant to take pictures (she wants to be a photographer..so why not :p)
So..I'm kinda freaking out.
Normal kids plan their weddings..
I've been planning this day since I was like.. 6
OH, and if anyone remembers from my last birthday thread (like last year) I wanted to get my brothers wearing pink
ONE, has his shirt. Supposedly it's "Baby pink, and a polo" .. his girlfriend had to somewhat drag him to get it.

I'm just also extremely nervous because my other brothers girlfriend.. likes wearing belly tops.. (shes around 200 LBS and still has her baby weight) annd I don't want her ruining it, but I can't talk to my brother about it because he doesn't seem to realize it.
And like I said, there will be people there I haven't seen in forever. Which gets my Anxiety up a lot.

Ugh... :)

So.. tips? :)

Sounds like a lot of fun! For makeup, if it were me, I would do something light. Probably metallics... Creams, gold, even white. It's the shimmer I like. I think you could do a really nice cream/gold blend. Not sure what color your eyes are though. I'm not very good with makeup anyway :p

Hope you'll post pictures! Have a blast!

Heh. I'm getting married in 3 weeks and we're going to have fewer guests than you will at your birthday party. My 16th birthday was spent in Austria. I got woken up at 6 am like usual for school and there were 3 birthday cakes from assorted people downstairs. We had cake for breakfast and I opened a couple of presents and my host mom popped a giant balloon of confetti over my head. Then I went to school like normal. I can't remember what happened the rest of the day, but I think my host mom made her fabulous lasagna. Way different than what your 16th will be, but very nice anyway :)

My anxiety is definitely getting worse as the day come closer.
I have a control issue, so if I don't know what i'm doing, what other people are doing, or stupid details, I get really panicky to the point i'm often physically sick.

Yesterday, I fell going into the shower at my camper, so I have this LOVELY :rollseyes bruise on the side of my knee (hey, at least it's grey and matches my dress aha) which is right under where my dress ends, so pray that it fades, or at least doesn't change color.

My brother called me not too long ago and asked me what i'm doing with my hair, and I said I had no clue. Which is odd for me, because of my anxiety I plan EVERYTHING (I already know what i'm ordering at the restaurant..and what underwear i'm wearing it's that bad) and so he said he wanted to take me to get my hair done.
Phew,
he said he'll come get me at 1:00 PM because my friend (who's going to be the 'photographer') is going to come to my house to take pictures of me getting ready.

We still havent gotten anything food/treat wise for the after party.. which is about to give me a heart attack.

And I still need to get my nails done which will take 3 hours of my life i'll never get back. :grumpy

Anyways, a bunch of people canceled this past weekend because I put a reminder on FaceBook that everyone has to pay their own way.
What, do people thing we're going to pay for 35 people to go eat at an Italian restaurant. HA!

:) it's okay, theres still 28ish people coming. :)

I totally hear you on the anxiety thing. I freak out like that, too. I can't remember if I said or not, but I really liked your dress! And that is really cool of your brother, I love it when they do things like that.

As for the bruise, would foundation cover it? Especially since it should have faded a bit in five days.

It sounds like you're going to have a great day, anyway! For my sixteenth, I couldn't handle anything more than just a family dinner at home. I highly doubt I'll be doing anything more for my eighteenth!

SO,
my mom's friend has this spiffy camera, so along with my friend taking tons of pictures for me (i'm lending Jessica my camera) my moms friend, Debbie is going to fallow me around all day (for my licence, to get my hair done ect..)and take professional pictures.
Well, that is if she can find the charger for the camera/charge it. :)
And, if I have time in between we'll try and find a nice spot to take good pictures of me with my dress (like a lake, or something)
