I just wanted to say I'm sorry for your loses and someone with experience should be replying soon, hopefully they can offer you some advice. :(

Ugh, sorry you didn't get a response. This should be in the Rabbitry.

Reglan is for guts that aren't moving, I didn't think diarrhea fit that bill.

The usual treatment is fiber and fluids.

Critical Care works well, so does a product called Bio-Sponge. I'd stop the oats.

It may be a virus, and all you can do is supportive treatment. So sorry.

For the diareaha that I just went through with two of my kits(6 week olds) was I gave them a light dose of Detramycin(powder antibiotic) in their water and Lots and lots of hay, free choice on pellets. One lived, the other did not.

I bought some probios for horses but unsure if I should use it. What do you think. I do have dri tail also just not know how much to give them. Thanks for yoor advice

You can tell I am new to breeding rabbits (a year now)but 4 of my littlers seam to be doing ok right now. I lose 6 kits out of 16. but i have 8 more does due soon. I have had this promble before and vet cannt firgue it out. If its a viruse how can I tell.

Well to tell if its a virus you pretty much have the first symtom as in more than one rabbit is experiencing this problem. Now it could be something not viral but just shared between the rabbits. Maybe something youre giving to the moms thats affecting the milk?

They are at weaning age so provide lots of hay for them. You can try deworming just to make sure sometimes coccidia doesnt always show up on fecals especially depending on which method your vet uses for testing fecals.

Try Bene-Bac it builds the babies stomach bacteria. Also a pediatric version of Kaopectate(an anti diahrreal)

It's a little off topic, but that's a lot of babies. What do you do with all of them? I'm just curious.

Sorry for your losses. Baby bunnies seem so fragile.

Iam breeding myHollands trying to inprove on the breed to show. My mini lops and mini rex I breed for pets to help with feed bill. I only breed them 3 time a year. The 16 kits are out of 6 differnt does.
