Shy, timid and grumpy rabbit.

I have a netherland dwarf rabbit and since the day i got her she is grumpy. She's also kind of shy too. I don't know what to do, please help!leaseplease:

Be patient, spend as much time around her as possible and try hand feeding treats, especially if she comes when you call her name or any good behaviors that you want to re-enforce and encourage.

i have tried that but sometimes she just won't eat the treats. And she has a tendancy to try and bite people so putting your hand around her face is not the smartest idea.

Check around the site and read some of the other threads on grumpy rabbits. I think a lot of them are just bored out of their little bunny minds, hate captivity, and therefore see little reason to love their captors. You did not say how much space she has, what her living quarters are like, etc., but certainly if she is in a hutch, do whatever you can to give her more space, and try to give her something to do with her time. There have been some interesting posts on how to provide rabbits with digging opportunities, etc.

she has a mid sized cage with a loft. She comes out of her cage for about 1-2 hours a day.
