Seizures?

I have a NZ just a bit older. She appeared to have bladder sludge (I know it wasn't) and she started having seizures. I used Ponazuril to treat for E Cuniculi. Since her treatments, I have seen no evidence of seizures and her urinary issues have pretty much resolved. She does present a slight degree of neurological issue in her rear quarter but can move around easily.

It reminds me of a picture I have seen of a bunny undergoing a seizure. If electrolytes are way out of balance, seizures can be caused by that too. It's definitely something to ask the vet about, and may mean he needs an EC treatment or an adjustment in the potassium he's getting.

too much or too little potassium can totally disrupt bodily function and cause all types of problems.I would have a blood test run to determine the potassium level of your bun.

any supplemental electrolyte really should be monitored closely in both humans and animals.
