Jingle Balls. Like the ones you give to cats. I havent had a rabbit that could destroy those(of course there is always the first time for everything lol). They seem to enjoy the noise they make.

My netherland dwarf, Barney seems to use it as a way to demand attention. Its pretty amusing to watch him sit there and shake it till you pick him up

That's a thought, though she might just find a way to remove/swallow the ball itself. My husband suggested metal ball bearings, but the larger ones aren't necessarily inexpensive.

It sounds like Barney has you well-trained: He rings the bell; you come a-runnin'. :D Our 8.5-lb. bun finds all sorts of ways to make noise to get my attention. They can be such smartie-pants sometimes.

:biggrin2:

My dad once kicked barney out on the deck one morning because he was trying to drink his coffee and smoke his cig, and barney kept sitting in front of him ringing his bell while sitting in his cage(he lived in the kitchen at the time) I woke up to find him and the cage gone, so I asked my dad what happened and he was like "he was disturbing my coffee and smoke..it was too early to amuse him" Lol I then went outside to find Barney sitting contently and proudly in the shade.

I think that Barney saw it as a win for himself. If he rang the bell and got picked up, it would've been a win. Instead, he rang the bell and got a visit to the great outdoors. :D

Sometimes I think that Barney thinks he is human. When my fiance and I go to rabbit shows he rides between us in the front in his little travel cage. He even get to sit on our laps or shoulders so he can see out the window. he really likes road trips, and I think it makes him feel like the Captain or something..and of course everywhere barney goes, his jingle ball goes with him. We find him sometimes flipping it into his food dish, getting it out and throwing it in again. He seems to really enjoy the jingle ball
