Ruby at vet. And I'm overseas...

Ruby has been taken to the vet, petsitter found a small pool of blood, called vets and taken her in. Vet thought bladder inflammation and shes in overnight. Thats about all the information I know, I dont no which vet shes got, I'm hoping they remembered to ask for Carol or Jonathon. I've e-mailed vet and asked for her notes and any bit of information so I can put it on here for help. Does anyone else no ANYTHING that could cause this, I presume she peed it out, but dont know anything about it. I'm really, REALLY concerned as I'm not there to make a judgement and none of them really no what shes like. I'm at the train station getting free internet and will try come down here a few times a day to see if theres any responses.
Oh there diet is Hay-lots and lots of it, 1/2cup pellets between both of them morn and night 2 crasins each and greens in very small amounts not very often as sensitive tummies. ANY suggestions are taken greatfully.

Edited to add. Apparently it was an orangey colour so am hoping its calcium over something else and it was thick...So could be sludge.....Gah I wish I was there!

It was probably just the orange red pigments that is normal in rabbits urine and they didn't know it was normal so don't worry

I was thinking that too. I certainly hope that's all it is.

You were right on the ball！only reason vet could see that it was red was she was given silverbeet. Gave her some sub-q fluids and tried getting a urine sample, they couldn't but her pee in the cage　was normal so they sent her home.�. If it happes again they want her to be brought in for a urine sample. Thanks very much for your good wishes：）　�

I know certain things can colour their pee - sounds like the beets were the culprit!

Beets are SUPER saturated in color- that most likely would turn their urine red! When I cook with beets they even stain my counter. I am glad to hear this is the case and she is doing fine. Better to have an attentive pet sitter than one who isn't!
