Haha that happened in my hometown a couple years ago, but it wasn't cause of rain! A 72 inch water main had burst and the whole streets were flooded.

Up here in PA though we don't really get flooded unless our creek overflows

Mostly we just get snow though. Like Snowmageddon/Blizzard of 2010 lol

Last year though all the snow we got was on halloween, which made me super mad.

Oh wow that is crazy rain! I feel bad for the loss at the museum but glad you are okay amd could be positive about a sad situation.

We had flooding where I live in 1993. I remember the warnings about playing in the water because it could make you sick. Do you have that there?

Morgan, poor thing was sick with pneumonia during this and she was dying to go outside so I finally let her. She didnt know what to think about all the water and she had never been in a boat before so the rocking scared her, i think thats what this face was lol

Lisa, I think we have had that warning maybe once or twice. OUr local weather station was posting pictures of people doing alot of the same things we were so I didnt think anything of it...you only live once ya know
