Rowing down the street

So today we had a bad storm come through. It rained almost a full 12 hours. Needless to say, we were flooded in. Couldn't go anywhere or do anything. So my husband pulled out his Jonboat and our daughter and went rowing down the street. Our neighbors came out with their 3 dogs. I brought my dog out and we just had fun playing in the street. Looks like you had a good day though. Was there any major damage from flooding?

We didn't get any damage. But alot of cars in the area are flooded. Our local living museum is flooded. The whole first floor. And Alot of other people have water damage in their houses

WOW!!! You really got flooded. Incredible pictures...actually looks like fun I'm in Colonial Heights, VA--near Richmond. It rained and stormed all day here, too. But I'm up higher Glad your house wasn't damaged.

That's so crazy. I'm on the other side of the bridge tunnel and it rained for maybe a half hour this morning...

I'm definitely going to scrapbook them. That was Audrina's first time in a boat. It's funny it was during a flood most of the water is gone today, but some places still have alot of water

Looks like here 3 days ago--1.85 inches in 24 hours and the ground doesn't soak it up, it just flows to low spots.

Orlena, I posted one time that we always have something going on. There's never a dull moment. It helps make my days go by faster haha.
I think we ended up with 9 inches if rain all together. And it's still raining today

Wow, it's raining here but nothing like that. I'm greatful I could still drive to work today.

What does Gracie think of all the rain? My kids tend to be sleepier on rainy days for some reason.

She isn't a fan of it. I couldn't let her out for 2 days because I had to keep the dog inside because of the rain. So she started rearranging her hutch and throwing her bowls around and dumping her litter box

I'm in Davis California now and boy is it hot! My buns and I are in air conditioning, yet were still too hot to move.
