RIP: Reesie has a lump

I found a pea sized lump on Reesie's chin. :nerves1She has a vet appointment tomorrow afternoon. Pray for good news.

I was able to move it around so I'm hoping that means it will be removable. Just keep my little old lady in your prayers.

So it turns out Reese has an absess. They think it could be due to a tooth problem but they can't be sure. They booked her in for as soon as possible -- next week on Friday. She is having everything done -- teeth trimmed, absess removed, any teeth removed necessary, x-ray, etc.

Wish her luck.

Do you have an exotics vet?
I know that bicillin is very effective for jaw abscesses.(in addition to the dental work and abscess removal )

I dont know if your vet uses it but it may be worth printing out some articles and talking to your vet about it.

I'm sorry for your loss. I lost my Petey back in May from the same thing. I even got him to the vet. But it was probably too late. Binky free.
