I have the Samsung R500 and had the same problem with the text message showing from 1 person but was from another. Then all my contacts in text message part showed up 4 to 5 times and i could send to text to the first 3 people. I when back to my cell provider and had them send it away to get fixed, all they did was upgrade the software. When i send a text to a pacific cell company it sends the message a few times.



Writing a text is sooooooo slow...

The text message memory is tiny- so I have to empty it all the time, whereas with my Sony Ericsson I could fill as many messages as my memory card could handle. The software that came with the phone is AWFUL and only works when it feels like it....
My holds only a 100 messages in the Inbox and Outbox.


I honestly with I had never swapped my Sony Ericsson. That phone served me so well!
Can't u pay a small fee to have it swapped back to your Sony Ericsson?? I did that with my sister's cell I went onto Website then into her account and switched to a differen't phone and only cost her $20 or i she could of paid $25 and went down to the store and had them do it.

LOL you guys!! I stupidly don't have insurance with the phone... I thought it was too expensive at the time! DOH!

My contract runs out in May I think... I can upgrade/renew then, or possibly in March/April...

I've tried to sign a new contract with them a couple of months ago but I failed the credit check :cry1:Strange when I've not used or applied for any credit since being with them but I guess my past caught up with me lol. I'll either have to wait to upgrade or buy a Pay As You Go one and put my contract SIM in it....

I pay 7 a month for insurance (per phone).. and I only have family text(no pic mail and no internet- to keep my phone costs down because i have 3 phones at the moment) it is the best thing... we learned our lesson when my husbands phone broke and we had to buy a new phone... I will never be caught with out phone insurance again

Can't you just use general house and contents insurance? That's what Gee did, he phone "accidently" fell into the sea and they gave her $300 for a new one...
