Taste the Dream I am lactose intolerent but love milk. So I substitute when possible. I have only found the vanilla milk but not the grocery store has chocolate! So I bought it to try and yum! Now if I could find the ice cream.

I have this too :D (also dairy intolerant).

My mum found us (me and my bro who is also DI) neopolitan dairy free ice cream this year. YUM!
I love it. I can have my yummy food without getting sick.

I wish I could find the ice cream!!! My intolerance has kicked up a notch since becomming prego.

LOL! That would be great! "Honey, what's that dripping out of the mailbox" "Must be my ice cream" ;)

I've thought about making my own but have never had the nerve to try it.

Yes we have rice dream here in edmonton. Its not in the milk section like soy milk is, its in the middle aisles.

I am allergic to dairy but I'm not a big fan of Rice dream. Yes its definitely better then soy milk but its not something I like enough to use on a regular basis. But then again I was never a fan of drinking plain milk, or having cereal. So I dont' really miss that part of milk.

Now if someone can come up with a soy cheese that doesn't contain milk protein that would be great!

Here is a good company that has a few good "non dairy" products. I've tried the coconut milk yogurt and it was pretty good. They also have ice cream and other frozen treats. http://www.turtlemountain.com/products/products.html

I tried the Rice Dream ice cream once, but didn't really care for it. Haven't tried the milk, though.
I can and do drink a lot of milk, but I'm addicted to Silk vanilla soy milk. The chocolate is good, too.
