My friend used to be in FFA. Well she is failingher classes and cant afford it anymore. She started to starve herbunnies. Rufusing them food when they are whining from hunger. She saysthey are evil and bite, scratch, and kick. She said this summer if theyare not already dead that she is going to kill them to eat!!! So I toldher to give them to me... The problem is I only have one extra cage for4 more rabbits. I was wondering if someone would like to adopt arabbit. I could ship him over to you. There are 2 females and 2 males. All californians. All are REWS!!! She saids they are really skinny andugly! I am going to go over there tomorrow and take them.

That's really sad. Wish I could take one but my house is full. :(

Search archives here. There have beenseveral excellent threads inthe past dealing with this topic.Right now is a fairly good time of the year to ship rabbits. Some airline will not ship buns during hot weathe at all.

*pssst* BunnyMommy....

"ruby eyed white" ;)

Technically, a REW (ruby eyed white) is a pure white rabbit (albino).

The rabbits with red eyes and point color are called Californian, Pointed White, or Himalayan marked depending on breed.

We think they are californias, they look like it,but we are not sure. They are completly white with red eyes. They havea bad attitude since being starved and they look skiny and evil. :(:X

If they are pure white, they may be New Zealand Whites. Californians have colored ears, nose, feet and tails.

I'd love to take the babies and make a "foreverhome" for them.... I just looked up liberty, Texas on Mapquest, and itwould take me almost 16 hours to drive there.... :( I wish it was justa bit closer. The drive down would'nt be bad, but i'm not sure howbunnies in a weakened condition would be on such a long trip back totheir new home.

Well, what if I drive them halfway and you pickthem up half way.:? That way it is only a 8 hr. drive. It is still longthough. I argee it is hard for the buns.:):( But they would be in abetter condition that they would be here. In one cage all alone. Theyare not here at my house yet, but we are working on getting them here. There are now only 3 of them:(.

Did one of them pass away? :( I hope not, but that's what I'm assumingfrom your post. If it did pass away, was it due to the starvation, ordid there appear to be an additional health issue present?
