I agree. If you've tried to breed her three times and all were unsuccessful, it's time to stop trying. That's a very responsible decision. I also use the three strike method with my Hollands. If three litters don't make it, that doe isn't cut out for motherhood. Heck, I know people that aren't cut out for motherhood, so it isn't a far stretch that the bunny world would see something similar.

Give Princess lots of hugs and kisses. I'm a softy and I always think my buns feel like failures when their kits don't make it. That might not be true, but I always give them special attention when they've lost a litter. If nothing else, it makes me feel better about the loss.:)

Ya it hasn't worked out twice now for me, I have always had a close bond with her, if you look at my blog you'll see the pictures of me grooming her and her grooming me lol! :p She's been out running around outside all day, she's all good!

If the water is too much warmer than the bunny's core temperature, it's too shocking on their systems to work. It has to be done slowly. I've done it with the bag and without. I actually prefer without because I feel I have more control of their head and can also tell their temperature better without the bag between my hand and them.

How old was Sienna and what happened to her?
