Emmy female lop mix possible Angora or Jersey wooley
Approx 4 years
Has a doc appoint in the am to be spayed
I noticed she had a mark on her eye when I brought her home from the humane society almost 2 months ago, I kept an eye on it, looked like a scratch, seemed to clear up.
I don't if it's a coincidence that it's the same eye but it's red, has gunky stuff coming out of it, it's looked a little irritated lately, and a lil gunk has come out here and there but today it looks pretty bad.
I did have her with Jack whom is a "Jack hammer" lol so maybe he scratched it?
Could this be an infection? A disease??

Be sure to talk this over with the vet BEFORE she is spayed. He or she may not want to operate until her eye infection is gone.

Be sure to point it out to the reception staff when you check in. I know Dr. Emerson very well and she will not operate unless it is safe. It sounds like Emmy may need some antibiotics. If you need to postpone the spay, your voucher will still be valid. Don't spend any money on metacam - I have plenty.
