I'm sure this vet is open to suggestions. He seemed to care a great deal about Fluffy and took a while to think about how he was going to deal with the situtation because he has never seen a back leg abcess this bad. He doesn't seem like the kind of person who thinks he's opinion is the only one that matters (unlike the last vet). So I'm making sure to write all of your comments and suggestions down to show him on our next visit.
