Was hugging the female rabbit on my hands and the male rabbit kept running here & there, kind of busy looking for the female rabbit. The male ran into the female cage & smell and then out a few times...then run round the house non stop, kind of looking here & there for the rabbit. Juz wondering, mayb the male rabbit was really anxious of the female, though she was gone....or can i say tat the male is rele in love with the female and can't bear to see her no around?......this is my 1st time seeing my male rabbit got such a reaction.....anyone , encounter the same experience wth ur rabbits?

Hi shermaine,

My bunny Cookie does the same thing. I brought a female bunny Misty into our house and Cookie is not neutered. The minute he got a whiff of her scent he started going nuts, running around the house looking for her, jumping all over the furniture and chasing me because I smelled like her. Cookie wanted to mate with her so he was looking for her...

Babette is spayed and Beau is neutered..they are a bonded pair although she is several years older than him. If I should need to do something to him like brush him or clip his teeth or nails she watches me and as soon as I set him down rushes to him to comfort and console him as if he has been touched by a "monster'"...
