Rant about The Feed Store

Although we often feel like hay is a necessity, pellets contain the RDA of fiber for rabbits.

I got to see what pellets they are feeding them. They have good pellets but also some really crappy ones.

Sorry Pam. I truely am dislexic.But ya th petstore with thepink dosnt look half bad I jus dont like the pink stuffand the marketing for easter. But the rubbermaids and chicks and stuffthats wrong.

They always use pink, purple and yellow.

My Petco always uses the colored CareFresh for the seasons. All the animals had green and red for Christmas:whatevah.

I never like to see a rabbit being sold in afeed store or a pet store, but I am glad these are at least out ofreach of little hands. About the Carefresh bedding-what is that madeof? Is that wood shavings of some sort? I usualy use crumbled corncobs, and Woody Pet if the store is out of those. I need to check theingredients in the Woody Pet, though, I have noticed it smells likecedar and I know you shouldn't use that.

CareFresh is dried paper pulp, I think...correct me if I am wrong anyone.

I use wood stove pellets from Walmart for my bunnies litter boxes. Ialso use that canvas netting over top of it, so they aren't sitting onthe pellets at all. It looks just like Woody Pet. I know a few peopleon this forum use Woody Pet also, with no problems. That is what I amgoing to have to start using, once the wood pellets are no longer instock at Walmart for the summer season.
