My question is how can he expect theNorth Koreans to feed the Bunnies if they can't feed themselves? Hubbyand I watched that on the today show this morning, all I could do waslook at my 4 and be thankful that they are safe. It's just a sadsituation, I wonder if there is anyway to get the german giants in theU.S., would love to have one myself.

Why are they getting rabbits(not to mentionbreeding to get them) when horses(not that I like it just saying) havemore meat? I'm confused :?

From what I have learned Samantha was supposed to be a meat rabbit.

There are german giants in the US, just very fewright now. I heard a guy in Texas imported a trio, I wish I still hadthe website telling about them. I have pics though, hopefully theyaren't the same ones on the link Mambo provided. (I didn't try to clickon it, my old 'puter can't handle vids.)

i would like to one day as well but it costs a lot more to keep one asof course they would need a bigger cage and eat a lot more food than anaverage sized bunny. i think i would try to rescue one as there was avase recently that loads of people wanted one but then reaslised theywere too much hard work that the dumped them in rescue centres!

Well, not to start an argument, but personally I would like to stophorses being slaughtered all together. Also, the horses beingslaughtered in the US now I am assuming are to fill a demand here inthe US, although what it is I don't know. Anyway, take the thousandsthat are being slaughtered now and ship them overseas, and then theother demand will not be filled. The result? Twice the number of horsesdying. Besides, if this were a thread about killing rabbits for food, everyone on here would be freaking out. Why not feel the same abouthorses?

I hope everyone will write to the network in protest.

It's also a fact that vegetable protein is just is good & does not involve hurting animals.

There is no need for anyone to eat meat to thrive, except possiblypeople like the Inuits & others who live in places whereveggies can't be grown.

That little girl looks extremely sad for whatever reason, & my prayers go out to her.
