My rabbit eats all of her toys...wood,cardboard, paper, etc...Is this safe? I don't want to takeaway her toys b/c she will get bored, but I don't want her to havestomach problems! Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Callista

Is she eating the cardboard and paper, or justshredding it? It's okay for them to ingest a little bit, butnot too much. They will usually chew on the wood, but theycan't really get enough at one time to cause problems, as far as Iknow.

Wiley will chew on his phone books that I givehim and eat some of it. It is okay for most bunnies, as well as eatingSOME wood.

DO NOT GIVE BUNNIES COLORED WOOD TOYS!!!

I cannot stress this enough. If you knew what the dyes themselves aremade out of, you would not ever give them those. The red pigment is theworst. Try to get apple branches. Rasberry branches are good as well(with the thorns and bark taken off). And a $$$ plus to thatis they are cheaper.

Is she chewing plastic? Some people give there bunny plastic toys, which is fine, but not if they consume them.

Also, just make sure she is pooping up a storm, so watch for stasis.

Dont worry, you are such a good Bunny Mom. You bun is lucky to be spoiled with so many toys!
