Rabbit won’t eat or drink

My rabbit we believe 10 had a tooth taken out 10 days ago it now means he needs pellets soaked in water as he has no teeth left. He never ate hay but now he’s refusing his pellets won’t drink water and I tried him on burgess junior pellets soaked but again no interest. I offer him different soft dark leaf green but he’s refusing these too. I have booked him to see vet tomorrow. He did have a follow up visit a few days ago his gums etc were not swollen vet said. Just mystified why he won’t eat or drink. It’s been hot today do rabbits go off good when it’s hot?

I'm not sure but I would try syringe feeding.
Is he pooping ?
Any signs of pain?

No he’s seems fine in himself but when he cleans inbetween his legs like when he eats his poo he makes little grunting sounds.

Vets asked me to drop him in tomorrow they will observe him all day. I wondered could be the hot weather. I’m keeping him cooled.

His poo is small round pods but a couple of stained areas on cage. Luckily has no more stained patches since early today.

If the syringe feeding doesn't work perhaps use critical care. I've heard it is more appetizing than just normal pellets but I haven't had any experiences with it.

I dont know either .
But I sometimes coat end of syringe in banana for meds so maybe it would work for that.

He’s doing ok he has been eating his pellets when I give them and he nibbles greens too! I think the heat can affect their appetite like us. I am monitoring for now. Thanks for asking.

He won’t eat anything except soft pellets soaked in water making them soft I do worry if he won’t eat anything else. Can a rabbit survive on pellets alone ?

I'm not sure ,but I syrige fed my rabbit who had a swollen gum just softened pellets

That's the same question I asked when Bunster hurt her mouth. She was so stubborn with food. I just had to give her grass (from a field that was not treated in any way) as a substitute for hay. You could try that and see if he's interested. An unlimited supply of pellets could make your rabbit grow over weight. There is some more information on the link below.
