Rabbit with pedigraa but no ear tattoo

Hi.... i wan from malaysia. I just buy rabbit from bangkok, thailand. The farm owner say the rabbit have pedigree, but when i collect that rabbit, there are no ear tattoo. when i ask the owner about the tattoo, he say not all rabbit with pedigree need to tattoo.

What i like to know,
- its possible rabbit have pedigree but no ear tattoo?
- and the pedigree can be use/accpet or not.?

If you are wanting to show a tattoo is required, but not a pedigree.

I bought an English Lop doe at a show and she came w/ her pedigree, but the tattoo hadn't been complete, it was marked w/ a marker to be done and had rubbed out and he never get her done. On her pedigree is the tattoo that is supposed to be in her ear. So I will just get her tattoo'd later to match her pedigree.

- it there any rule/ statement that say : the rabbit with pedigree not actualy need to make tattoo and the pedigree still can be accept/use ?

make sure in your area the tattoo is the mark to show. Some countries have leg bands.


and I would personally get the rabbit tattood, so you know that pedigree belongs with that rabbit. If you're just keeping it as a pet and nothing more it doesnt matter anyway.

I'm not really sure if it works the same there as is does in the US. Some of the rules might be different.

Here a pedigree and tattoo have to match in order for you to register your bunny w/ the ARBA. So I'm not sure why you'd need to use the pedigree unless you plan to breed.
