Good evening all
having previously kept house rabbits, we’ve agreed to take on some of the rabbits that live in the house we’ve bought, to avoid them being taken back to the rescue centre they came from.
the run itself is ok large, but there’s no grass at all, it’s just earth, and in the rain it’s very muddy; consequently I’m worried about the bunnies’ health and wellness, having wet bottoms in particular. They have an old chicken coop to live in, and I’ll clean, waterproof and insulate this isn’t but I’m worried about about the run and mud.
Any recommendations please! I was wondering about bark as a temporary measure, but also not sure what’s best as a permanent appraisal.
thank you
