I'd forget at login time and be cussin cuz I can't get in...LOL...better not..

If your going to back up yourfiles is there anyway you can access itfrom a different computer , and burnit to disk ? I amafraid if you burn off the programsyou have now you will re burnthe trojan with it . and when youboot up you just reinstall thetrojan . I did that to myself once before and it isone of the most frustrating things to have happen .
Do You still have your ME Start Up Disks? If You do You can back up toan earlier point when the computerwas running right and it shouldwipe out the Trojan . Unfortunately backing up thecomputer without the start up diskjust reinstalls the darned bug .
Another thing you can do is burnthe virus/ trojan fixes from anothercomputer to run in the CD Drive of your computer ,Most of the Browser Hyjackers have aburnable fix , as does Sasser, and Super Nova , MyDoom and lots others . just save to " My Documents" after the download , Burn it to CD andyou can run it in any computer with a CD drive .
I have an ME system along with a secondcomputer running XP, I also at one point had an old98 which I just loved , poor thingcommited suicide one night in a thunderstorm . Iliked ME OS for its simplicity , only issue I haveever had was not keeping up withupdates for windows patches andantivirus updates . Matter of fact I havehad more virus and trojan problems withXP that I ever had with ME. Matter of fact Iuse my ME when the XP gets atrojan or virus to download andburn fixes . Had I not had my ME when this onecontracted one of the auto downloadtrojans that is pretty much explicitto XP I still wouldnt have acomputer or would have had to purchasa new computer ( Again ) .
