First I'd like to thank everyone for all their advice and suggestions. This forum has really been great. I have had Sebastian now for 5 years without any health issues and when Baci became sick, I was clueless and felt helpless. With all the various advice and suggestions I've received, please don't take offense if I didn't go a particular route.

Right after I posted, after much stress and tears, (and taking a vacation day tomorrow anticipating we'll be up all night) hubby decided to give Baci a dose of the Cisapride, along with Pedialtye and simethecone. Within 30 minutes, he kept cleaning himself and finally just got up and started running then straight into the community potty and gave us a fairly good amount of pee and poop. He's been active for the last 30 minutes pooping and peeing twice and running around exploring. As I'm typing this, I'm also watching him eat some greens. Hubby just ran out to get more Pedialyte. Fortunately Quick Check is open 24 hrs.

It's hard to tell what exactly worked or not. I've heard the healing can be a very long process. I'm sure we'll be losing alot of sleep and probably more time off from work. But it's all worth it! Thanks again, you have all been so wonderful!

I'm glad he is better. It is possible that the gut motility drugs did help. I don't personally know if I would give them to my bunnies. We don't want you to not trust your vet, but we do want you to ask your vet hard questions and provide a "double-check" for them. Perhaps it was the fluids, perhaps it was the drug. At least we know the drug didn't hurt in this case.
