Hi,
Just wondering if anyone can help as I'm a bit worried.
When I first got my rabbits I was told they were both females, until a few months later, I noticed one was actually male(who is now neutered). The doe(who is a giant continental) has given birth to around 10 kits. A few days before giving birth she started gathering hay in her mouth and built a large nest in her hutch and has also pulled out the fur under her belly and hidden the kits under this.
She gave birth between Wednesday night and Thursday morning and the kits seem to be getting smaller and I'm not sure if she is feeding them.
I don't know whether I'm being paranoid so I thought if I uploaded some pics someone might know better if they are not being fed? I'm also not 100% sure if she is producing milk, I tried to check but couldn't see any fluid. I'm going to try and take her to the vet tomorrow also.
The pics are on http://www.flickr.com/photos/84218260@N05/
Thanks
