Rabbit changing colors?

my almost 3 month old rabbit is growing weird patches on his back and the tips of his ears are darkening. Is this normal or cause for concern? I’m not sure if he is truly almost 3 months. I was told his birthday is November 7th,2018 but he had gotten big so fast!

Our spayed lionhead has been changing color. So am hoping it is a prelude to a shed.

Looks like molting, all kits go through that. Losing baby fur and changing to their adult fur. Remember when my bun did it. He lost his white patch he had on the forehead. So nothing wrong with it.

Molting happens random on indoor rabbits but goes after seasons with outdoors rabbit.

At least that’s how it is with my rabbits.
