It's very important to know the weights of thebreeds that you want help in identifying -- pictures can be verydeceiving when it comes to estimating size.

Age of the rabbit is helpful in many cases, as well as listing thecountry you are from (A Holland Lop in the US would be called a MiniLop in the UK -- other breeds are also known by different names).

From the photos, the rabbits look like either large Holland Lops or small Mini Lops -- I'm leaning more towards Hollands.

i have just found a post with a similar bun on and was wondering if perhaps hetti may be a rhinelander? if so im in big trouble

Hetti is some type of lop -- I'm certain that Hetti is not a Rhinelander -- so we can rule that one out ;)

Pam
dont lops have to have big ears? her ears arent as big asjacks. i need to find out because she is a big girl and sheeats all the food.

How much does she weigh?

Not all lops have big ears (see the photos I posted above). Some Lops have a lot of ear control, so their ears may not lop well.

Nope -- we can also most certainly rule out Polish or Dwarf.Hetti probably is a UK Mini Lop (Holland in the US) -- with a lot ofear control.

Did you look through the breed standards and weights for the lops on the BRC site I listed?

Do you have any other photos of Hetti?

Pam

I think they are mini lops. Are you located inUK? If you are then I don't know. If you ar located in the USA thenthey are diffently mini lops. I can give you a lot of information onthem, if you want? This one is a rare color, I think. The black one isseen a lot. I like this one below, a lot. That one is a broken orange. The solid black is just like my sisters.

that image of hetti looks just like my rabbitwhich we thought was a mini lop but turned out to be a Holland lop. Shepassed away around 9 months ago. I'm crying now. Her name was Coconut. She died when she was only 1 and she had a miscarriage and died sadly.I had to tell her that it's okay for her to go because she was tryingto hold on for me. I just keep crying when I think about her.
