I was a bit worried our pregnant doe might not be getting enough protein so gave her a few pumpkin seeds today. However I just read some info on pumpkin seeds inhibiting calcium intake so now I'm worried that they are not good to give her. Does anyone have experience of this and put my mind at rest that I haven't done something stupid?

Thanks. That's the thread I read already that mentions pumpkin seeds as a calcium inhibitor. I was hoping to hear from someone who feeds pumpkin seeds to their rabbits all the time including when they are pregnant to put my mind at rest.

I have been having trouble getting good quality pellets which is why I've been looking to add something extra. I have been feeding her alfalfa hay every other day.
