I usually let Molly out of her cage daily, butwhen its time to go back in at the end of the day, she growls at me andtries to bite when I pick her up. Is there a better approach I canuse?? cause I dont want her to feel that her cage is a jail cell, whichis what she seems to think right now:?

Have you tried coaxing her back into her cagewith a treat? I've heard that bunnies love crasins. This is just myopinion but it sound like Molly is more upset with the idea of beingpicked up than having to go back in her cage.

Hope this helps. :D

I have tried treats before and she doesnt seemto really care for them. As far as being held, your probably rightabout the fact that she doesnt like it!! Im just wondering if its areaction to going back to her cage or being held because, she's finewhen I hold her other times, its only when she knows shes going back inher cage!:?

I've read that rabbits don't like being pickedup because once their feet leave the ground they feel like theirstability is gone. I'm in the process of reinforcing Munchkin beingused to being handled. I'm experimenting with letting her run aroundthe living room for a while until I get her indoor run built.Unfortunately, she's napping right now and doesn't appear to have anyinterest in coming out.

Of course, once I close the cage door, she'll want to climb over it and want out....hehe.

I think im going to have to try to get her usedto being handled:)today I sat on the floor while Mollyexplored and she actually came right up to me and put her nose upagainst mine, hopefully thats a sign she is used to me being there, unfortunately she runs away if you try to touch her so shes still quiteuncomfortable with being touched and handled. The only way i can pickher up without any growling is when im taking her out of her cage!!

Is there anyway you can let Molly walk into thecage by herself? She might be less resistant if she feels like it isher "choice" to go back in the cage.

yea actually I tried it last night, she seemedto go in there no problem but that was after she was satisfied withenough out time:Dlet me tell you she was out at least 4 hoursbefore she decided to go back in her cage, im planning on letting herhave free run of the house but only when im sure she is litter trained. When she was given to me, I was told she never had a litter pan beforeso she still is using all the corners of her cage, im hoping she willpick her favorite corner soon!!;):D:)Im also looking intobuilding her a hudge cage with nic cubes but im unsure where to findthose?? im sure they probably have them at Walmart?? any ideas?????:?

For the cubes check Costco first, best deal ofthem all. But you can also find them at Home Depot, Revy,London Drugs, Target, Walmart, Superstore, Zellers, etc. Youcan also use the find materialstool at the cavycages.comwebsite, people say where they got there supplies.
