Jason just called me. Sometime thismorning (after I left for work) Pristine somehow managed to escape fromher cage. Jason woke up the black (Iszy) fur throughout thehouse and found Pristine sniffing around Iszy's cage.Pristine is fine but Iszy is yet to be found. Poor littleIszy probably hasa bruised ego from being beat up by a2-month-old. :disgust: I find this rather comical,as Iszy was the one who always bullied Lenci. What goesaround comes around...:p

Jason did find Iszy hiding underneath the couch.I told him to do what he can to catch her and check her out to makesure she's okay.

Perhaps Lenci is whispering in Pristine's ear as to what todo ;). I can see Lenci binkying at the Bridge, thinking it's 'PaybackTime' :p

Jason said that Iszy seems fine...just worn out and missing some hair. :disgust:

OMG!!! She did it again!! :shock:Whatthe...! I have no idea how she got out. After herlast escape, we double locked the door where we thought she wassqueezing out. How is she getting out?!? Seriously, there is no way that she can jump that cage. It stands threefeet high!!

Gonna have to lock her up, Lissa!

She's a piece of work!

Oh yes she can. Our Polish dwarf(mocha) is able to clear three foot barriers when she wantsto. She does a real cool Jackie Chan move and takes a fewpushes off the wall in mid air. You should see it.It really looks awesome. But of course that means we can'tfully trust any gate under four feet.

*edit* Oops. two accounts again. This is James.

But she is on linoleum! There is noway she could jump it. She can't even keep her balancecleaning herself. Don't tell me we have to put a top on hercage. What a little monster. :disgust:

Yes, I would be guessing (and probably fairlyaccurately) that you too have a Jackie Chan on your hands. Ithink you would be surprised. Once he puts his full weight onthe front of his feet (the claws) I am sure that he is getting all thetraction he needs. Linolium is pretty soft and those nailscan squish it down to get the traction he needs

Well, if she isn't going under, isn't gettingthrough, then she must somehow be going over. I don't thinkyou need a real sturdy top, just enough so that when she tries to goover, there is no way she can hook her front paws over theedge. When I watch mocha do her escapes, she just BARELY getsher front paws hooked over the edge, then she scrambles for a second toget the rest of her over.

That little stinker! We've had rabbits actually climb the 3 ft. fences.
I have a feeling that is what she's doing. She is probablyclimbing up the side walls and droppingdown. :foreheadsmack: I thinkthis bun's got us outsmarted.

"Might as well jump. Jump !
Go ahead, jump.
Get it and jump. Jump !
Go ahead, jump.

Rosie (aka "Nija Bun") can jump out of the ex-pen and landonthe ledge that's in front of the cages. That's more than 3 feet and theledge is only about 8" wide. Then she runs back and forth andterrorizes the other bunnies. She bit both Brindle and Chippy on thenoses through their cages.

when our buns were younger, Princess would scalethe sides of their pen *all* the time until we put a top onit. and yes, it was close to 3ft high.. when the goobers want out, theyget out lol :) i bet if you watched her for awhile eventuallyshe'd get brave enough to do it in front of you.. we justgave up and have free run buns now lol
