I too am glad to hear that you've changed yourmind. If you get them spayed & neutered, they couldebcome a great bonded pair. Definately refer the people thatwere interested to local rescues or shelters. I can promiseyou that there will be lots of bunnies in shelters shortly after Eastertime.

:bunnydance:Yay, so glad your decision has been swayed!:bunnydance:

Now..let's have more pictures of your adorable bunnies!:pleaseplease:

So I booked Prince to be neutered on the 9th ofMay, it'll be longer b4 I can spay Isis, im not that incredibly richjust yet. It'll have to wait to about october I think to spay her butthe main problem will atleast be taken care of, maybe the 2 can playwithout him trying to hump her lol!

Does anyone have any extra care tips for Prince's surgery cuz this is one thing I never had to deal with before.

Also, does this site have a photo gallery option besides individuallyposting a pic with each thread reply? I do have quite a few pics i'dshare but one at a time is kinda tedious.

:hug:Darfi, I can't begin to tell you what your decision has meant to this forum!

As for the photos, everybody here just uses photobucket.com ortinypics.com (or something) and cuts n' pastes the 'IMG'line.

Really looking forward to hearing about and seeing more of your amazingly cute bunnies!

sas :)

I took these pics today and i'll look into thephotobucket thing, i've used photobucket before but I never enjoyed itthat much. Oh well, i'll revisit that again. So here is the most recentpics of me and my two buns. First is my girlIsis!

They are beautiful buns. You cancertainly try to start bonding them after his neuter, but wait untilhe's healed. Also, keep in mind that she'll still heterritorial.

Yep, i've done some research into what is goodand bad combos as far as male/female bunny friends. She'll be spayedtoo but it'll be october when that happens unless I come into moremoney before I graduate college. In the mean time they visit throughthe bars of thier cages and take turns having run of the house.

They are just adorable! They will make such a beautiful bonded pair!

For Prince's surgery, you shouldnt need to worry about much, its prettysafe and simple for the boys. Make sure you ask your vet for somepost-op pain meds (like metacam). Also, make sure to keep himin his pen/cage for at least 24 hours or so to discourage any strenuousactivity-like jumping and running. You will also want to be sure he iseating and pooping within 24 hours of the surgery. You dontneed to withhold food before or after the surgery (even if the vettells you to) because rabbits cannot vomit. You will alsowant to check the incision a few times a day to be sure theres not anybleeding or excessive swelling (a little swelling is normal).

Other than that, the only thing I can think of is to warn you thatbuckscan still impregnate does until up to 6-7 weeks afterthe surgery..so I would keep him away from Isis for a few months justto be sure.

Hope that answers yourquestions. I cant wait to see more pics of your babies, they are really adorable.
