My Sweetie and Prince mated when I introduced them. She had all the signs of pregnancy, but by the 35th day of no babies, I knew that it was a false pregnancy. I was prepared to help Sweetie with her kits if she had them. Evidently she did not have them as it was a false pregnancy.

Had Prince neutered and I waited until two or more months before putting them together. So yes it does take two months for the sperm to die.

I too would be more than happy to help Princess if she is pregnant, but the more I look at her and her behaviour the more I think that it is a false pregnancy. Today she has been out of her cage, she isn't interested in nesting and she is running, hoping and skipping round my bedroom, without a care in the world......

Ok, so I'm going to have to keep them seperate until the end of August. Can I bring her downstairs though? Otherwise my bedroom will stink of rabbits and my boyfriend won't stay over......need my own life too guys....lol

Wait a few more days... no babies, move her back downstairs. She is just not allowed to run with or play with Benjamin. (And make sure he can not "reach" her through the cage either!)

The kids are on summer holidays here at the mo, so Benjamin is in a indoor run, it's a lot larger than a cage and it stops him getting trampled on by my kids. I have 4 children and that's a lot of traffic through my house when the kids are at home. Would Princess be ok in a cage in the same room? They won't be able to get to each other that way. I will wait until Monday, to bring her down though, just to be 100% sure that she is not pregnant.

Thank you for your advice everyone, will let you know what happens in due course.
